In this photograph you see the officer in action falling over the metal barricade in an attempt to grab the man in the orange hat. This photograph is a great example of catching action in a frame. The use of a wide lens gives the viewer a better understanding of what is going on and a sense of place by showing the reactions of the people and protesters in the background.

The photograph is very graphic and raw but it creates a reaction in the viewer by showing the reality of the situation. I think the angle that the photograph was taken from shows the reactions and the intensity of this situation. The viewer can see just enough of the other two men in the frame to get their emotions across.
